The Rant Spring II u-brake brake has a redesigned shape to work with modern wider frames and large tires for improved clearance. It is compatible with 2.5" wide tires. The Spring II brake is constructed of lightweight alloy with high quality low profile springs and tacky compound brake pads. This includes the brake caliper, yoke, and straddle wire.
This brake will only fit 990 mounts.
