2008 marked the 40th anniversary of Profile Racing. To help celebrate this occasion, Profile Racing re-released the re-manufactured original box style cranksets. Available once again, these cranksets are made on the original 1979 tooling. They are replicas of the originals including decals, grade 8 gold zinc bolts and washers, aluminum spider, retro American BB with 5-3/4″ solid axle, spacer tube, and retro 5-bolt 110mm spider. The arms are constructed of 4130 chromoly. This crankset also includes an installation/removal tool. This is sealed in the factory box.
