This top load quill stem.will work with 1" threaded forks (22.2mm) and 7/8" bars. This stem has a 22.2mm shaft. which won't work with most old school BMX bikes. This will only fit forks that use a 22.2mm stem--most commonly found on mountain bikes, road bikes, and lower end juvenile bikes.
